Our Projects

InformationThe purpose of the FACES Project is to capture and preserve, through a variety of media, the uniqueness of each of the world's people groups - their cultures, languages and heritage. This is a project of unprecedented scope, never before attempted in the photographic or research community.

The use of modern technology to represent and document the history of mankind is one characteristic of this project. Aesthetically appealing and high-quality photo documentation of all groups of peoples, and corresponding video and audio sequences, will make the diversity of mankind clearly and emphatically visible. Research reports in fields such as genetics, anthropology and ethnology not only will underpin this diversity but also highlight the common elements which make all human beings members of a global community - an essential value needed before conflict can be reduced and the cause of peace advanced.
