Intercultural Dialog

Friends in EthiopiaThe FACES Project promotes intercultural dialogue among the people of the world and a greater awareness and understanding between peoples and nations.

This mission is achieved through broadening knowledge and appreciation of varies issues affecting members of our world community.

The Project sustains these objectives not only through cultural and socially oriented activities,
but by creating meaningful records of people groups living today.
This supports the increase of awareness and understanding of each other.

The world today contains several thousand people groups, yet they know very little about each other.
These individual groups, with their unique cultures, languages and heritages, are photographed by the FACES Project and images are compiled in a global photo album consisting of the world’s people to encourage cross-cultural communication and to further FACE-to-FACE interactions.

In an era of accelerating globalization, it is essential to increase understanding, tolerance and communication among peoples of our world in order to promote stability and to improve the quality of life.

This ensures that all the possible benefits of the globalization process are realized by everyone. The work is of sustainable, educational value empowering a new generation to be inspired and motivated to reach for their goals and contribute toward a peaceful environment.
